…Of a Hero! What is a hero made of?

I’m not talking about Superman or something like that, but someone who loves YOU…Someone who is a hero to YOU…someone like that.

 I think that a hero is made of bravery, courage, love and peace! They know how to make people smile and laugh. They are there for you when you need them and are always willing to help. They always stick up for you when you are being bullied or in some trouble.

 Now to the best part…Who is your hero some that is always good to you? My hero is a very nice person. She is always there for me and she always sticks up for me when I need help. She is… (Drum role please?)…Haley! But remember that, even though your best friends are your heros to you, your parents should be too

I like to stay alive…So I am giving you all some tips that just might help!

1. Don’t get within 10 ft of a knife

3. Don’t get to close to Brayden…Hehehehe!
4. Don’t spray a giant bee’s nest with your hose ( I’ve tried it and it hurts…trust me)
5. Don’t stare at the sun and then run…
6. Read Sophie’s Post…right here
7. Don’t go to Haley’s house…there’s to many knifes…I think.
8. Don’t Read Twilight… Nick told me that one!
9. Don’t get to close to a razor.
10. Seat Belt’s Everyone!

Today the wind is warm. Of coarse it blew my hair all across my face; but it kind of felt nice!

I was sitting on the dark green grass, as the wind still blew into my face. In front of me, was Chae yoon and Julian laying on the ground looking up at the sky. To the right of me, was a very annoying soccer game…and the baseball diamond. To the left, Devan, Brayden, and Sam, focusing on there work very hard…well, Sam was!

I jumped up, to see the place I was sitting on…No bugs! I turned to my left and walked as straight as I could. I walked past Sam, Devan and Brayden. I loved the feeling of the wind, trying to push me back to the place I was at the first time.

I stopped to think…

• I’m hungry
• I’m tiered
• I wanna go home now, to eat and sleep!

When I got to the little spot I was going to sit at, I looked behind me… just the forest.

Now I listened to what I could hear….CAW, CAW, CAW, CAW… an eagle was passing, now it was getting closer, now it was circling me…oh no…

Drug, Abuse, Resistance, Education.

Over the past few weeks the whole class has been taking a class called “Dare”. We learned all about: Drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and huffing. We had just recently finished dare; so now we had to write our dare essays. Here is mine:

Have you ever been in a situation involved with the following: Drugs, Alcohol and/or Smoking? I have not, but when I was learning all about drugs, alcohol and smoking in Dare it felt as if I was involved in a situation like that…that is how realistic it is.

For me, I had lots of fun in dare. I had a good time each week; skits, talks, humor, and stories.

I have learned that if you were in a situation like…well, let me just give you an example.

Ricardo’s parents have to work on Saturday. He is home alone and is very bored. He looks around for something to do, and he remembers that his older brother left some beer hidden under his bed before he left for college. He wonders what it tastes like and thinks to him self: Should I try it?

Define the problem: Ricardo is confused and doesn’t know if he should make the best choice.
Asses, what are your choices: Go ahead, don’t do it, find something else to do, have a drink of juice.
Respond, what you would do: Ask my parents, talk about it.
Evaluate, would you make the same choice next time: Yes.

Now, I bet only few of you know the effects of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Well, if you don’t I can tell you. It all affects the following: brain, mouth, throat, lungs, heart and liver.

Now that you have heard and learned all about DARE, you can make good choices when and/or if you get involved in a situation like. Well you know what I am talking about.

…Mother Nature that is!

(I am outside, observing the earth, and things I appreciate)

The wind was blowing softly, as it pushed my hair onto my face. It was very cold out; only because I didn’t have a sweater on, or near by.

First I looked on the ground; It was very green (Of coarse). Then I took a look at the sky, it was grey and cloudy…But then I looked closer. To much litter on the green grass. The sky was grey only because of big black smoke (Probably coming from some where far off). I looked around me in a far distance, I saw lots of cars, in fact 28 of them.

I lifted my elbows, to see if there was anything crawling underneath; but instead of a bug I saw marks from the grass all over both elbows.

Next I focused on the feeling of things. I pushed on the ground with my knees; the ground was sort of soft and squishy. The grass felt damp and silky (like pajamas that just came out of the washer).

I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head to see a rock…but not just a rock but a crystal…I think.

…I stopped to listen…CROW, CROW, CROW, CROW…Mrs. Smith… Hey did you see that… there was so many things going on………………….that was the wistel, it was time to go inside. I walked slowly to enjoy the fresh air that the earth still had…

…Appreciate the Earth!

On Sunday April 12 is a when a man died (Jesus Christ) and a day when a  little bunny (The Easter Bunny obviously) comes to our house and hides something we like to call chocolate.

Easter is coming up, and I love Easter for one simple reason…Chocolate!!!!!!! I am going to be at my Dad’s house for the weekend…or should I say long weekend, because we have Friday and Monday off. We get Friday off because it’s Good Friday and Monday is Easter Monday! I have entered a coloring contest for Zellers at the Driftwood Mall to win a giant Lindt Gold Bunny, like one in this picture but way bigger…we get to find out who wins on the 11th.

I can’t wait until the weekend. Here are the reasons why. (Oh and P.S. I have already told you the first one)

1. The Chocolate of course.
2. The Hunt.
3. The Night
4. The Excitement
5. The Colors (I think that one is my favorite reason)

The one thing I wonder about Easter is if the Easter Bunny is a Chocolate Bunny or a Real Bunny..or maybe not even real. Maybe it’s something other people would like to know and something other people know.
