What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

May 25, 2009

I Have wrote a post called “An Insperation” on a Author who came to our school, I had mentioned that I wanted to be a Vet when I grew up but now I am kind of tied up between an Author and a Vet…Can I do both?

Here are the reasons why I want to be a vet:

I love animals. I hate needles and I want to (sometime soon) get over my fears. I like to help others. My Mom always tells me I would be really good at it. I have had 4 different pets: Kiki, Romer, Garfie, Pinchy. I have had practice taking care of pets (Ilooked after my neghibours cat once, and I have been taking care of Romer).

Here are the reasons why I want to be a Author:

Nacy was such an insperation to me. I love to read and write. I always wanted to make other kids happy in a creative way. I always write in a diary, I have been writing in one since I was able to spell my name(age three).

So I could always be a vet and write books at the same time. I was really thinking about doing that. So I think that is what I want to be when I grow up.

Now, it’s time to move on to your future jobs and hobbies. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Do you want to be a: (These are just jobs I can think of right off the top of my head)

  • Fireman/woman
  • Policeman/woman
  • Nurse
  • Doctor
  • Vet
  • Author
  • Construction builder
  • Inventor
  • Restoration Man/woman
  • Logger(That’s a job my Dad does)
  • Metal Recyler(That’s what my Dad does)
  • Artist
  • Composer
  • SINGERRRRR!! Lalalalalala
  • Actor

Again theses are just off the top of my head.

I am really interested in what you want to be when you grow up and why…Don’t just read the rest of the post go for it!

Bye! (This is the part you were not supose to read, silly)

An Insperation…

May 22, 2009

I always wanted to be a Vet when  grew up…Until she came to our school.

…We had a very kind woman come to our school (Valley View) today. Her name was Nancy…I forget her last name. She was such an inperation to me, and Brianne. Me and Brianne both had the same question for Nancy.
“What advice do you have for the writers in the room?”

I thought that would be a great question…but then she asked Brianne. But that’s okay.

Nancy’s answer to the question was:
“1. Reading helps alot. It can inspier you in so many ways. 2. Practice makes perfect. Always practice your writing.”

I took her advice right away. Because I Blog!!! Blogging is always a good way to read and write. So I thought that was really good!

The only books I knew of that Nancy had written were:

Number 21
Camping
And a few other I can’t remember the name of…

I hope that you get to meet someone who is an inseration to you someday. And thank you for leting me tell you about my “Inseration Hero”!

Bye! ☺

She Might Be Gone

May 22, 2009

She might be gone but that’s okay
She’s gone he’s here but your not happy
We are all here for you
We want to be there for you today
I know your sad and that’s just fine
Love is hard when it comes to Mom
It’s hard to see her go and pass but,
She’ll be in Canada and that’s just right
So at least you’ll be able to say good night

This is a poem I wrote for someone. And I hope he likes it and feels the emotion in it.

Two What?

May 21, 2009

Just the other day I had an amazing experience…I saw…

It was raining so hard down town Courtenay. You could hardly hear the crows squacking at you it was pooring so hard.

Me and Mother were heading to Walmart to get a coller for Romer. Minutes later it had stoped raining. The sun started to come out. It was so bright, and then.

…Two Rainbows!!!

Im sorry, but that was so cool there was TWO rainbows in the sky. It was so not something you would see every day!

Here is how to use Glocal, step by step:

  • Plug in the camera to your USB portal
  • Open up the file called glocal project
  • Type your name in the “My Project” box
  • Press “H” to hide the menu bar on the top
  • Hold the camera
  • And Have Fun!!!!!

Hmm..what comes next? The “Fun Times” we had with Josh and Franziska. Dom was always so silly, he made Josh laugh so much, all the time. Hehehe! (Sarcasim!!)

“Oh No…Romer Are You Okay?” I ran…

May 16, 2009

Out of all the cats in the world, it had to be Romer. But why?

(Just a tip. When you read this story , you need to remember the part underlined.)

It was 10:00am on a beautiful Saturday morning. There were birds flying in the morning mist and Romer was playing downstairs.

“We got a new bike! You guys, come on outside, we got a new bike!” Michelle was in a hurry to pump up the tires on the new bike we got.

Aleesha was still in bed fast asleep, like she usually is. Tyler and Melissa ran out side as fast as the could because they were very excited, but me, I just sat on the couch.

“Come on Tyler, hurry up.” Melissa had to excited also. She had dark brunette hair with some red and copper high lights too. She was already outside by the time that Tyler got his shoes on.

“Alright wait a second. I have to get my shose on okay.” Tyler had, had a long hard sleep, he was kind of grumpy.

…SLAM!!! That was the door.

…MEOW!!! That was Romer…Romer.. What happened?

I ran downstairs as fast as I could. “Oh no…Romer ar you okay?” I saw Romer dragging himself up the second stair down, meowing and screaming at me. I picked him up and took him to the deck. He was walking funny. I was crying because it look like he broke his leg.

“Get in the car now…Wait get dressed first.” Cam grabbed the cat. I ran downstairs, got some shorts on and got Romer in the van. We went to the Vet and got him check out…He had a very broken leg.

“Yes, I am sorry but the only options are to: 1. Take him Vancouver and fix it there. 2. Put him down, and 3….Chop his leg off!

Me and Cam talked it through…”Number three please” I was so sad and scared and a disipointed kind of excited. I was so sorry for Romer.

“Please take a seat int he waiting area.” The doctor sounded different. She had a kind of accent. SHe didn’t say a thousand and three…She said a tousand and tree! I was  thinking all of that in my head. “Not now  Chelsea” I said under my breath. “Not now.”

“I’m sorry to about your cat. But he will have to stay here over night if you want the therd choice.”

“I’m still gonna stick with three.” Cam said.

And that was that. So you heard the story, now tell me what you would do if that happened to you?

Oh and P.S. Romer will come back tomorrow with three legs at around luch time.

2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs

May 12, 2009

I love Hockey!

But who do I cheer for? Calgary is my favorite team, Vancouver is my second and they are all out. I like Chicago a little bit, I like Peguins, and Boston Bruins but I feel like a trder when I cheer for them!

They last teams left are:

  • Boston and Carolina (Are playing tonight I will let you know who wins that later)
  • Chicago
  • Detroit
  • Anaheim
  • Pittsburgh
  • And Washington

So those are the last teams left. But like I said, I feel like a trader cheering for those guys. So I want your advice; who do I cheer for? Oh…And while your at it answer these questions:

  • Who is your favorite team?
  • Why is that team your favorite?
  • What team would you cheer for if your favorite team left?
  • Why would you cheer for that team.

Remember… What team do you think I should cheer for?

P.S. Boston won there game so they play one more. Who ever looses that game goes golfing!

Oh No, Not Echo!

May 11, 2009

Poor, poor echo!

Remember the post I wrote called the Eagle Cam, well the little eaglet Echo has…DIED! Here is the story:

Chapter one: Caught

Echo was rolling around in the old fish from yesterday. He was so happy until…He was caught onto his mother. The fish was so sticky he got stuck, right in between his  mom`s leg`s.

Chapter Two: The Struggle

Echo had been caught for almost 10 minutes now. He was struggling to get off. His mother even tried to use her legs to help…but it wasn`t working.

Mom kept wandering aroud the nest trying to help get him off. She pushed and pulled and yelled for help but still nothing was working.

Chapter Three: The Fall To Death

Mom was just to tired now, to tired of using her feet. She standed in one spot for about 2-3 minutes and then…Mom flew about three or four feet…krrrkrkrkkkkrrrkrrrcrcckkrrk! The camera want purple and green then we didn`t see anything, but we heard: “PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! It was loud, then it became not as loud then…it was silent!

When the camera came back on, we nothing but the other little eaglet in its huge eale`s nest.

That is just so sad. So tell me what you think!

The House Of Justice

May 8, 2009

What is it like in a Canadian Courtroom? What is done to make justice FAIR?

Today I’m going to tell you what it is like in a real Canadian Courtroom, what are the peoples jobs, and what can justice help you with.

Judge

The judge can decide whether or not the accused is Guilty or Innocent; that is only if there isn’t a jury. He/she listens very carefully to everything that is said by all.

Court Clerk

The court clerk is the judge’s official assistant. He/she prepares the courts schedule. He/she also calls the court to order when ready.

Crown Prosecutor

The Crown is a lawyer. He/she represents society. He/she will also present evidence.

Investigating Officer

He/she is the police officer that investigated the crime; there for the investigating officer is a witness.

The accused

The person who is charged from breaking the law. The Judge or Jury will decide if the accused will go to jail. and the judge will know how long for.

Court Reporter

The court reported records everything said. Sits close to the witness so he can hear clearly.

So those are the basic people involved, but I also have some objects that are involved int he court of law too; like:

  • Witness Stand – Where Evidence is presented
  • Prisoner Box – if the accused is in jail at the time of the court, they must sit in the prisoner box
  • Religious Books- If someone has a religion they belong to, they may swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth on there religious bible

How do we make it fair?

WE, can make it fair by not commiting crimes, not being bystanders, being winesses, and telling the truth. These are all ways we can make justice fair truthfull and make the world a better place.
